About the Artist
Shana is the award-winning artist behind Shana Williamson Art (Formerly SW Fine Art & Design). She is a 38 year old wife, mother, wheelchair user, that has ADHD and spent her life thinking she couldn’t draw a stick figure. At the age of 35, and after many forgotten and abandoned hobbies driven by that infamous ADHD hyperfixation, she decided to give drawing a real try. What began as small doodles quickly grew to full blown, realistic pet portraits.
Her first year of this new hobby included a lot of trial and error with a vast array of papers and pencils, sleepless nights watching drawing tutorials from world renowned color pencil artists, and a whole lot of patience. With that she was able to begin doing commissions of peoples pets and ultimately go on to win multiple awards for her work.
She continues to invest her time learning new techniques and tricks to better her work and looks forward to expanding more into new and unique subjects.
